Brain Pop is great, we have done a lot with digital photo books too. They are very creative!

we use Macs for video production. It's amazing what they produce with just a little teach!

rickweinberg does blogs and podcasts with our local first grade classes, he's a great resource too.

what's an optional tech workshop? Is it one that people can choose to attend if they're interested?

oh and mcarls too, he is working on a lot of integration and is amazing with new innovative ideas for kids!

my Macbook! Our school is just starting with Macs. Most teachers don't have them yet.

I can barely live w/out it now! Kids love the photo booth too.

The macbook is what we went with for our 1:1 - the kids are picking up on it fast!

tRains_tech wikis for virtual word walls might be a cool topic or a blog for students' literature responses or podcasts for book reviews

milobo: It is one that tchrs are not required to attend. THey come if they are interested in the topic, or sometimes just need the PD hrs.

I had staff select which apps they were interested in for the ones we do at our school.

Nice - what about Google Tools? I shared with teachers today how to create a Google form for student assessments and they loved it.
