I like them fresh - but frozen ones are nasty. Stay away from frozen.

Now that's not true. Frozen can be just as good. A good cook can make frozen taste fresh, a bad cook can make fresh taste bad.

it's not the taste but the texture. like eating frozen and thawed lettuce. yucky.

well I've never had store bought frozen sprouts, might be different than restaurant grade.
