no major problems I've found but it is interesting that I've got 3 tabs but 5 processes running in Task Mgr.

check out the browser's own Task Manager: Page -> Developer -> Task Manager

Plurk is using 48MB of memory, my Google Reader is using 21MB

wow, i wouldn't think plurk would take up that much memory and be larger than Google Reader....
