So far no compelling reason to switch. Lack of plugins is going to be tough to overcome.
running Chrome on my Mac w/Parallels. Ditto Teach42.
Ok, I do like the ability to just drag tabs off the bar and have them become new windows. And vice versa.
don't think I'll be switching as I'm happy with Safari. Besides it's not available on a Mac yet
So Chrome application windows take Web apps and give them their own non-browsery type window. Cute, but I don't think I'd use that.
I like the ability to view browser tasks/servics and end just the ones not working rather than lossing entire browser.
using the Web apps shortcuts with Google Apps Mail and Calendar and Docs.
very interested to try this out though, but who can replace ff3
I'm not giving up FF3 just yet, but I'm not uninstalling Chrome either. I love it's simplicity and speed.
I just got FF3, not sure what took me so long but I love it
have to wait for Chrome to go to Mac
Not only drag windows out to desktop as apps, but can drag back into a single window to "stack" - I miss piclens/cooliris, but figure
plugins will be along shortly. Still some bugs (open/close plurks, ustream, etc) but it is day 1 of the beta...
i like it and it doesn't keep crashing like my FF does
I got it downloaded, but no time to play with it tonight. Let us know if you love it!
Chrome will look sharp for screenshots (instead of all our plugin-heavy browsers). Maybe?
Going to try using it as my browser all day today and see how that goes.
Been going back n forth Steve - Chrome is having some Java issues, and some js issues (like having to minimize and reopen a plurk to replurk
But it shows promise, and it is rendering very quickly.
i downloaded it this morning also. Verdict is still out.
I set it as my default for today. Even using Plurk despite it having some major bugs. Otherwise, Chrome's been amazing for me so far.
Strange, I haven't been having Plurk issues with it yet.
My only issue with it, is not being able to use arrow keys to scroll through the timeline.
