there were boys who snuck into camp at night to rendezvous with the older girls - so I heard.

at that time, I thought boys were creepy so I didn't really care.

god. We had dances--almost every night at Band Camp. GS camp was full of, well, girls and giggles & stuffed animals. Way more simple.

I did, however, sneak in the forbidden copy of Blume's *Forever* and read the racy parts aloud to my fellow girl scouts.

naughty girl scout. I was 9, 10, and 11 when I went to Girl Scouts. It was sooo fun. Someone took a picture of me and my 3 tent mates

in front of our tent and it made it to the annual girl scout calendar. I wish I had a copy of it now.

band camp was a horse of a different color
