it's funny that the google logo now on the main page is mlk and his fellow crew replacing the letters o and g. You know what's up. 
I thought it was a bit low brow that they made it black though, i had thought we moved past that....
i think it's more that it's black and white.. as in.. a long time ago and a moment in history
most of the documentation on it is black and white film
im hoping van was just being a smartass, lol
but i got the "historical" vibe too.
