np. i'm actually progressing fairly quickly. have to put up curtain rods (again) so that i can continue.

What exactly did they *do* to the room if it's missing curtain rods and has a floor so dirty you have to scrub it by hand??

apparently, they pulled the curtain/rod down as one...so the rod hooks needed to be reinstalled.

insofar as the floor...well, wine spatter, and dog. once part of it was really clean...made sense to do the rest while i was at it.
