So I've been living in a world where the melt beads I use for crafting have been discontinued for the last five years. But now they're down to only these colors. And it's finally hitting me.

I like them so much more than the ones that come from Europe and China!!
I guess it's probably pretty telling that it took them five years to REALLY start running out of stock
but I don't care if I was the only human alive buying them

they still make the ones you can smell!
the normal-sized beads are very much still in production
and have all kinds of kid licensing deals

the way the one on the left has that spiking/bleeding!!! it CAN happen with the us brand but it happens way more with the Chinese stuff

they also make a HUGE size (that I think is still in production) and caps, which only have holes on one side so they melt seamlessly
I don't mess with caps but they come out more like 
and... ALSO might not be in production anymore 
I can give the UK brand another shot, but I remember wrinkling my nose and going "ewwww" the last time I tried it out
over here spending $8 a tray just for some pockets of skintones with like 700 beads apiece
THIS IS FINE I'll forget all about this after I click "checkout" and then be surprised all over again in six months when I'm running low on Sand again
