CONTEXT: Capcom's making a push to counter mods of any type and are using an extremely-suspect company to do so.
Of popular note: The Mega Man Legacy games (ZX, Zero, Battle Network, etc), Resident Evil (Revelations/Rev2, RE5, RE6, etc)), Ghost Trick, and many others
Workarounds are being made, but bottom line is legit users are being punished because "ebil piracy" or somesuch shit.
