yeah exactly. i think even on a purely character level, zelda is a lot needier and more insecure than gorgug is really prepared to handle, especially when they're being constantly separated by the school and have entirely different friend groups.

two people with self worth issues who are so shy they struggle to even like, have one conversation, that sounds great in theory but in practice it was never going to work out.
