It's been a few months since my mom passed away and my cats and I have pretty much lost everything.

My sister invited me to live with her while I get myself together. I was my mother's care taker.

I appreciate her and everything she's doing for me, but her constant threats of needing to get rid of my cats and getting mad because I feel sad about that is really getting to me.

I know I need to get out of here, but recouping everything I've lost in such a short time is a struggle.

I'm so sorry that you're going through this. Pets are family, and it's awful that your sister would even suggest you get rid of your cats. Is there any chance she could just... lighten up?
