Overall I like the story, some parts seemed a little rushed, but that seems to be a current theme with a lot of shows. They either rush the very beginning, or the very end.

If I were to pick anyone up from it, it would probably either be Lucifer, Alastor, or Husk; in that order. But I have a feeling that the fandom on this is going to be a little eclectic and might be more than I want to bite off with a major character. So maybe someone like Zetial once there's more information.

Will probably start looking up the other one and watch it over the next week or so.

I watched the pilot and mostly felt like there was the bones of a story I could like there, but the presentation was A Lot. Does it get any less...abrasive?

Not really, the characters flesh out a bit but the language and jokes remain just as crude. And there are certainly moments that are enough to trigger a lot of people.

gotcha. it's not triggery for me, thankfully, just feel like I'm wading through it get to the better stuff. so probably a pass for me
