Every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, we bring a group of senior special Ed students to the east gate at 10 am to get on the bus to an adult transition program, and we always return at 1pm at the same gate

We’ve done this every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for two months now, and will continue to do it until the end of the school year

And every time

Every. God. Damned. Time.

The security guard that is supposed to open the gate is late and when they get there, they act like nobody told them that they needed to do this.

Sympathies.

In my 16 years in schools, I’ve only filed a complaint about other staff twice, it was because of their unacceptable behavior towards students both times. I really don’t like to take official action against other school staff unless they’ve done something seriously wrong.
