Yeah! I only got through vol 3 of the manga because I had trouble tracking down the rest but I'm really enjoying the anime! I love mysteries too so it really helps.
I need to watch some more AstroBoy myself; I watched some of the 2003 version when it aired in the US but I really gotta watch the rest one day.

i had to binge it the last time i visited my brother bc i don't have netflix anymore (i barely watch anything on it so not worth) and phew it was so much in a short period of time but damn

I just bought the manga from the Crunchyroll store. It was about $10 per issue.

The anime is pretty much frame by frame though anyway.
