Technically you can use one account for any region and be within TOS. But for the sake of no one finding me with an NA account I just made a new one. Which... technically breaks TOS but it's fuzzy because different regions, different TOS.

I can't really do PVP on ASIA because of my status and the environment

So I'm kinda having this account specifically for PVP-oriented things

I somehow, despite 550gs (baby gearlet) was able to join a NW guild. They did not do a pvp trial, but I am playing Shai (support) which is always needed and people always bend the rules to recruit them

The difference between 550gs and my ASIA account's 710gs is about 3 years of gameplay lol

680 - 710 is about 1 year

It slows heavily

But they are doing that thing where they move everyone up, they add more steps to the ladder but they also erase the bottom steps so the minimum goes up as the maximum goes up

So there's always the same amount of steps on the ladder

Which is pretty clever

So the NW guild I'm in on NA is .. nice? We did one war tonight. Naturally, we fought the "best T1 guild" in the server. What a lovely introduction to NA Node War!

I did not score the lowest! But I did score second lowest

WHICH to be fair!! As a support, getting any kills whatsoever is usually an accident or like you mistakenly stole another's kill. I think I stole but obviously not on purpose I was trying to use skills with FG (forward guard) to defend myself

So I got 1 kill but 17 deaths LOL

But we got butchered. Downed in 20 min. But again, ~best T1 guild in NA~ was our opponent

BDO relies heavily on a fairy that force feeds you potions so you don't have to click on them constantly to heal yourself

But my fairy is level 9 and incapable of assisting me yet so I have to manually do everything

So once I lose hp, it's almost impossible to stay alive

did you know you can have culture shock in video games

So NA completely ignores some content that ASIA treats as CRUCIAL

And ASIA does things very different in other ways and I have bumped heads a few times in less than a day because the inner culture is just............. different

Being a noob is both refreshing and infuriating, I have so few resources and I have to be so careful about how I spend anything I have

I'm used to just being overstocked in everything and not needing to ration elixirs or food buffs but here I have literally nothing lmao

It's rough but kinda fun

Either way, still playing ASIA, still being a ridiculous guild lead, still babysitting my 99 kiddos. Just doing NA things on the side that I can't do in ASIA

video game culture shock is so real
