[LARP DB] Okay, I'm at a point where I really want to fish for some UI advice.

Let's say you've got the list of item cards in the DB, and you want to select a list of them, either to print out or to set as a character's starting items. Right now I've got a visualization of the list set up below the list, but it's off screen and thus not intuitive to look at. What's a better option, in your opinion?

is it possible to have a side bar showing what all you've selected to print?

I was wondering about a sidebar as well

This is absolutely an option, but how do I want to display the options in such a way that a user can double-check an confirm the item(s) they want are in the list?

List by name, and image if they hover over? It condenses it down somewhat

That's doable, though I'm curious if others think hover-over is the right way to view them.

might be good.

Alternatively a 'what's currently in cart' approach might be good. Like you click a button and it shows what you currently have selected
slowly looks over???
You have a UI designer as your partner!
Hovers and modals work well for this kind of thing.

Maybe also a thing you can click to expand out an individual listing to see the description text on the card itself

So that if there are a few versions of something with a similar name, you’d be able to see if this is the one you want
