Volunteers are going to bring me a cat from Kharkiv at the end of next week and I’m googling how to trim a long-haired cat’s butt

Wasn’t going to adopt a cat from Ukraine because I thought it would be best to just send money to volunteers and adopt a cat here but then I saw this skittish little fluffy ginger in a video and that was it for me

For sure! He almost was going to come with a mate but turns out he’s a quite jealous cat who wants all the attention so we decided he’ll be coming alone. I’ll be so happy to give him all the attention. Every cat I’ve had just wanted to be left alone (LOL)

A lot of these animals have been evacuated from the frontlines, after people fled. If you’re in continental EU, the fee is 250€ and covers everything, it’s about the same as adopting from a local shelter or cat café, I think. But you’ll be taking animals away from cities bordering Russia that are bombed daily.

Comb it slowly and carefully, so as not to disturb the cat.
