he's not, like, fully in his right mind, he's in the utter grips of PTSD and a little bit of a psychotic break. but he was willing to execute before this, it just would have taken more than it takes now

quentin has done murder, not on humans, but he would murder humans if he felt it necessary

that's his thing, he definitely doesn't go to killing as a first resort but he can and he will if it's his best option

he's not a STRICT utilitarian but he has trouble finding anything wrong with one person (or entity) dying to save thousands or millions of others

angus actually...not like outright murdered someone but purposefully let them die instead of helping him the way he should have as an ER doctor. but this dude 10000000% deserved it and angus was eaten up with guilt for months afterward. so i don't think he'd do that again
