also I very much sat up and took notice when the buyer was talking about how he worked for gun before it was called gun, that it was a shadow ops group led by robotnik. which is very curious bc as far as we know, gun was founded after the events of s1 by commander walters

like it's always been apparent that walters gave robotnik a lot of autonomy to do as he pleased to a point, but given he famously isn't fond of working with his inferiors (everyone), him having some kind of team he was in charge of is an interesting detail

also the buyer's got a whole mcu mysterio bent about it, like pitching ideas and making designs for inventions (possibly even in-use badniks?), so like. was this a team he had from a distance to do a lot of the heavy lifting and dirty work? or was he actually working closely (for him) with others for a time?

I saw a fuckin symbol on the wall behind the buyer and I kept thinking it seemed familiar but I could be crazy. there was also part of me that felt like-- I mean "roboticist" gives it away, yes, but I was kind of hoping for a second that when he said he worked for robotnik he might've meant the other one lol

robotnik leading a team like here's your task, go do it and never speak to me again

i guess maybe robotnik's "gun" wasn't much of a group anymore when robotnik was gone so walters repurposed it and gave it a new name or something

meanwhile I really feel like there's a lot of inability to be nuanced about a depiction of a jewish family on the internet, who coulda seen that coming
