I did not get any merch but I might order a merch of this tour online. bc the tickets were digital I do feel like I have to have something physical to commemorate this shit

I didn't even take a single photo or video while the demonstration was going, bc fam, man, I already got short people problems, I could seriously do without the half the venue has their phones up recording the whole time problems lol

I was still p dang-ass close to the front for how far back in the line I was, I could've gotten like a better view if I had gone up to the balcony but it wouldn't have been the same ya feel?

these two guys in front of me were baffling tho. I have no idea if they knew who they were seeing or got dragged there by someone. they didn't sing along to anything, they barely ever moved and it was only the one of them occasionally kind of grooving to the beat and that's it lol

like sirs this is a rock concert if you aren't here to rock out then remove your taller-than-me selves from mine sightline--

and yes, they played the new song and yes it ruled

the story half of the concert they had those rad af spinning holographic projector-y things and that was truly THE COOLEST god damn effect

also didn't expect a rousing chorus of country roads playing on the venue stereo to round out the night with but that was a fun impromptu singalong lol

my one hip hurts so bad lol. and between the wait to get in, the concert, and work yesterday morning, I absolutely was on my feet for at least 12 hours, plus the jumping around and rocking, so no wonder

just goooonna take an aleve with lunch...

the way they did the holograms was sooooo sick.

I'm not ashamed to admit that at the post show M&G I talked to Dustin about how he and his team managed to do hologram tech better than Miku Expo.

I WASN'T EXPECTING IT bc I just didn't connect what the spinning shit was until they lit up and I was like this is the most amazing shit the fuck

and the costumes slapped nuts

I want to make a bard that looks like the violinist like dang the crop top armor thing and the sideswept white hair hhh and dustin's dune-ass outfit so good

actually there's no merch specific to this tour that I can see which, sad, oh well. I'm looking at someone who put up recordings (from the back) of everything including the intermission and lolll I forgot I got nailed in the head by a flying water bottle

they were passing free ones out and obvs the people further back needed some so sometimes they got passed calmly back, and sometimes they got tossed. I did not see one coming from somewhere to my left and it landed right on my gd head lol

They do tend to put their backstock of merch up for sale after tour i think, so fingers crossed????

yeah I didn't want to go get some merch and then have a spot further back, I just immediately went as close as I could get and was not gonna move for nothing

god there's really nothing like a good rock concert. when you can feel every molecule of your body vibrating (like you're watching dune 2 in imax) and you're also just grooving and singing with everyone around you and you feel so connected to everyone and everything
but most importantly you're vibrating so hard your soul is getting jostled around
