ANYWAY we've been getting a bear swing by the last week

Silly us, had bird feeders up

The bear tore them out of the ground and crushed one of them, the other feeder survived

AND THEN

It took a giant shit on the surviving feeder

If that's not a fuck you, I do not know what is

I just got finished dealing with all of that lol

It makes me think of a tumblr post that was about bears going at someone's bird feeder and had someone add onto it that like

they were from Africa and they thought people were just being a combo of racist+ignorant when people from North America would ask them things like "Oh do you have giraffes or lions just walking through your town sometimes?" because obviously not they're safely on wildlife preserves! Clearly this person is stupid or an asshole or both.

And then they got on tumblr and saw posts like that with photo evidence and realized Americans ask that because that's how it works in America. You just have mountain lions wandering through your suburb sometimes! Bears will hang out on your porch!

Some trash bins are advertised as bear proof and this isn't some lol hyperbole that's actually something people do need depending on where you live.

Yeah, I think we will be investing in one

I am glad to hear that people in Africa don't have to deal with lions casually wandering through towns
