Allow me to explain

Amanda claimed to have such an understanding of Jigsaw and his game and failed to understand the core of it all.

She made her traps unwinable while Jigsaw, while the tools to escape were dull or the means of escaping made it extremely difficult, made his traps winnable because the goal was not to kill the people but to make them appreciate life and live theirs better

Don’t get me wrong, Jigsaw is shitty because he had no right to make these choices of who deserves this and needs to atone and who doesn’t because that’s God’s place not man’s but that’s a whole new thing

Amanda failed all of Jigsaw’s tests because she did not want to better herself or help people live better lives, she just wanted to get revenge on everyone for her suffering and allowed her rage to blind her to what was really her purpose at Jigsaw’s side

She could not take his place because she did not value life or hold the “second chance” value Jigsaw used as justification for what he does

Again, what Jigsaw does is horrific and awful. He had no right to do what he did but this about Amanda not him rn

So yeah, she’s an interesting character and all but she makes me made because she refused to learn just what she was doing wrong EVEN AFTER HE RUBED HER NOSE IN IT AND SHOWED HER Laid it all out and she still didn’t see

Granted, I’m only on the 3rd Saw film and it’s been a minute since I watched the others but that’s what I’ve observed here in these films now
