A LOT OF PEOPLE ON PLURK HAVE KNOWN OF MILES LONGER THAN MANY OF MY IRL FRIENDS

Miles was diagnosed with stage for kidney failure back in january and after 6 months of very successful hospice at home we had him put to sleep

he made it to his 17th birthday....we had a birthday/solar eclipse party for him back in april

I've literally had this dog since I was 17

And he was extremely healthy right up to the end and that's kind of the best anyone can hope for with a dog

We even did an at home euthanasia where the vet came to our house so he had all his friends and family and was in his favorite place, getting fed apples and peanut butter right up to the end

Oh Miles I'm sorry to hear that but he had such a good long life

thank you....he did have a really good life!

it is crazy that this dog lived across three decades and through my high school graduation, through college, my entire twenties and into my thirties

hes been with me for every big life transition....we joked when we bought our house we were buying it for Miles to live his golden years

but we kind of were LMAO

its extremely sad and we will miss him forever but it really is a lot easier when they did comfortable and old

compared to like pets I've had that died very young or from a sudden illness

Aw man :c I'm so sorry for your loss. It sounds like he lived one helluva life until the very end.

We had a lot of time to spend with him and say goodbye

I am genuinely really glad he was able to be with everyone he loved while passing. Miles seemed like such a sweet guy.

The old man is finally at rest...i'm sorry he's passed but i'm glad he was able to enrich your life as much as you've enriched his

he literally had like 6 people in the room, and his dog friends....he had so many friends and family in his life
