My older coworker isn't getting along with the new guy; admittedly, he's on his phone a lot and hasn't been taking the trash out and has called out a bunch in the two weeks he's been here. Older coworker is already the kind of person that's easily frustrated, but when she gets frustrated she gets talkative.

new guy complains to management that she's "talking about him" and she complains that he doesn't do anything. Management tells her not to talk to him (which she hasn't been, directly) and since our opener also hasn't been showing up, he hasn't been taught how to do certain things and I'm between the two of them I'm just completely over it.

Management is involved so hopefully they'll get it sorted out bc it's getting ridiculous.

why can't people just behave themselves

i ask myself that every day. The customers are bad enough without my coworkers fighting eachother too.
