I think if there’s one thing I’ll never truly forgive George Miller for, it’s keeping Babe as a tiny baby piglet for the entire franchise.

I just love the book, and how it describes this huge monster of a fully grown pig herding and guarding the sheep
Mica

how he has this goofy run that's much slower than a dog and everyone laughs at him
Mica

But he's polite and kind and fully committed to eating less and strengthening himself, all for the love of the farmer and his sheep

So despite it all he's a ferocious livestock guardian and an exemplary herder all in one animal.

there are several chapters where somebody comes after the sheep and he's just like "nope" and they run the hell away because he's a White Yorkshire and they can be like 800 pounds and seven feet long.

like, can you imagine a farmer just being able to whistle up a monster like that, and it just does whatever he wants?

in the first Happy Feet movie, Mumble is the only penguin of his generation that has a realistic feathering pattern
Mica

baby emperor penguins keep much of their fluff for much longer than you'd think and they grow their adult feathers in under them before eventually shedding them out
Mica

oftentimes even having that fluff still on them when they go out into the world
