The only thing that bothers me is Pikachu speaking English
Pikachu's off the clock and can speak whatever
I think the more troubling question would be "what is the implied observer/camera in the 4th panel?"
Pikachu and Sonic are not facing one another, and the framing is peculiar compared to the other panels. My theory is that they are trapped in a clandestine research laboratory, and the 4th panel view is from a hidden monitoring camera.
In light of their powers, this may be related to the origins of The Flash.
