Just bought a new computer because my other one is 7 years old and starting to struggle

Both are connected to the same wifi

Both appear in the network tab

Nothing I do will allow either computer to talk to the other

I just want to send over all my files

From old computer to new

And nothing is working

Really takes the wind out of my sails, getting a new computer is supposed to be exciting

NEVERMIND, it randomly decided to work after I came back to it and changed nothing

This is why I quit the Cisco Network Engineering program 20 years ago

Even the most simple aspects of computer networking just do not work like they’re supposed way too often

And when/if I fix the problem, I have no idea how

Cool it didn’t work for 3 hours of messing around and now it randomly does after a 20 min break

What did I do that made it work? I dunno

I could never do that shit as a job I would lose my mind
