because like, in scale of sheer power, this would be an easy list but

some asshole of mine is crafty

(this is inspired by a disco chat lol)

1. Gen is the least powerful

a) yes he's very crafty but; b ) he is strictly a pacifist and squeamish about violence anyway c) and he is more apt to make allies than fight

also d) his magic that he's learning is all emotion/support based

2. Dorothy is the second-least powerful

a) she's a very hard to hurt robot b ) but she's also for all intents and purposes a pacifist c) she is more apt to grab someone who might get hurt and run them to safety

she has not been learning magic because I don't think she believes she can

(this might change? we'll see.)

3. Shinjiro is next

a) yes he has a persona b ) yes he's kind of an OP party member c) he's not going to use that power unless he's defending people

for someone so ready to break someone's face for threatening people, he is the least aggro of my fight-y characters

4. controversial choice for this spot: Noctis

a) oh boy is he super powerful b ) he fought basically an eldritch abomination solo and won c) all he wants to do is rest now d) you will not catch him stirring shit up unless you're threatening people

he's definitely more aggro than Shinjiro, but that's because he doesn't have a giant hangup about his abilities

5. Zechs

a) he has learned a magic skill that basically ... b ) he has been given even more enhanced reflexes so with that magic skill he's now pretty OP despite not being inhumanly strong or having magic sparkle bomb powers c) he is SMART and strategic d) he will start shit if he thinks it's needed

everyone else on here (save Gen) might be able to beat him in turns of raw strength or (save Gen and Dorothy) raw magical ability but Zechs never lets that actually stop him

everyone's saving grace is that he is kind of crippled by his massive regret and he's doing his best not to make rash choices if shit goes down

6. Yuta is the most powerful of mine

a) magic sparklebomb type stuff (a curse girlfriend) b ) super strength and fighting ability c) very clever kid who is actually great at strategy

and also d) is a teenager with no chill when his buttons are pushed

he will go feral and burn things down if pushed in the right way

anyway now I'm done /bows out/
