The last one teaches me to be wary of buying packs from Temu because it's like 6 sets for 20 bucks. They're usually a mess.

But otherwise it's not a bad one to do if I want to podcast and don't want to just podcast.

I love those! I haven't done one in a while but I did a huge one for my mom's birthday once. It was a koi pond. She was super cute and framed it up in her bathroom <:

I've taken up to doing them again. Especially when I found that Temu does custom ones got super cheap.

My only problem with them is that my hand starts to really just seize up after a while, but it's easier than writing or drawing so that's nice. Makes it a little more accessible to do art

That and you have all those little shinies xD

Have you tried other pens? Or more ergonomic pens than those little pink things that comes in the kit? Talking of which, I have like two dozen of those I don't know what to do with, lol.

I have nerve damage in both my hands and over use injuries, just work things. I just have to know my limits. I do have a fancy pen though!

Probably have a little of that too but it's not the main thing.

Oh dang. Yeah, that'll explain the overuse strain.

I sprained both my thumbs one season and just had to keep working cause the deadline wasn't going to shift for me.

Yeah, basically. No HR to complain to, just your parents as they roll their eyes and tell you to get back to work as a thirty-two year old man xD

With sprained thumbs! D: but it's tough working for family.

Yeaaaaah I try not to get into it too much xD
BBitsaboi: randomly stalking, but my husband's been an electrician for about 25 years now, and his hands are a mess. All that constant abuse. He was a car detailer before that, and the 15lb buffer didn't help either. I think it's a common thing. I feel for you. He takes meds for it.
Mom used to do a lot of these. I've got a beautiful cat one that used to hang in my room. There's no room in this new room, but when I eventually move I'lll hang it in my new place.

mikomitears: yeah, they're really nice and meditative. I use one of those art project binders to store the completed ones like a photo album.

BBitsaboi: a delicate fist bump for a fellow busted hand buddy
I haven't done diamond painting, but crochet and cross stitch are how I keep my hands busy while watching things

siriuslydementd: yes, diamond painting is the lazy version of cross stitch. I thought smug staying crocheting too, but I have a problem where my hands sweat and I won't be able to.
