I hope they have a good idea for a plot for this one that isn't just redoing the plot of the I1 and I2
I do feel like Incredible 2 gets more hate than it deserves, it was alright
but like Incredibles 1 was a, well, incredible movie
and Incredibles 2 was, like, ok
it felt like a sequel that was made because you have to make a sequel of a movie that's that good, right?
but it mostly just retread the same plot with a different coat of paint
I do hope they go the direction I'd hoped they'd go with 2
where the movie is set much later
brad bird is still on board right?
anyway, Violet is in college, Dash is graduating high school, Jack-Jack is at whatever grade level he should be at
it should be a very different chapter in the family's life which presents different challenges
or maybe not that but... something different
if this ends up being another movie that starts right at the same time the previous ended I don't think I'll be interested
granted, I'm a single 40 year old dude, I am not the target audience
but that's just what I think would be a better movie
hm... I guess time will tell
i hope that they do age them up. Jack Jack as a baby only works for so long.
if it were me, having the parents formally retire and having the kids step up to take their place would be a good flick for me. of course dealing with the struggles of aging parents and what that means for super parents could be interesting.
