My husband has colon cancer. He found out because of a positive Cologuard test. Please either get your colonoscopy or do one of these if you can't. He's only had mostly mild symptoms that could've been explained by other things. It would've been easy to miss. He's 48.
He did have to get a colonoscopy to confirm it, but since I couldn't drive and you cannot drive after one, he had to get a medical taxi that cost $800 which is part of why he did Cologuard first. We were fortunate to be able to pay it, not that it was fun or desirable, but so many people could not pay that and it's infuriating.
