Astarion is down to just some handsewing and finishing the wig, oh and I need to properly fit my fangs

Pirate King Luffy is DONE and I might finally actually wear my default timeskip version too

I spent too much brain on bias-cutting that shirt so the hem and sleeves flow to have it sit in the closet forever

"Total Rickall" Rick and Beth are the last to finish, but I have the weekend to finish the guns. I am stupidly proud of my cardboard guns, a cosplay goal checked off

that goal being "cardboard props that still look like you spent money"

my BFG is cardboard, mailing tubes, and various materials I've had in my stash for 10-15 years easily, the only thing I had to buy for these props is some 99 cent tagboard and a $3 toy gun from Goodwill

to make up for the literal hundreds we spent on linen for BG3 Gale

I may actually have time to clean the toilets and vaccuum the floor before we leave, wow

in weather news, thank goodness no threat of tropical systems but holy fuck me it's going to be 95+ with ugly heat indices all weekend, thanks Atlanta

if you didn't know, DragonCon's actual cosplay parade is REAL. A cable channel, the local cops, and public transportation are prepared for it. Families come out and line the route to see the costumes and vehicles. It's so amazing

if you don't want to watch the whole thing and want to skip to where I might show up, the BritTrack is right before the Bloodmobile and then the pirates, toward the end 1/3 of the parade

I will be in bright silver pleather carrying a 4 foot long inflatable alligator. Rose will be in a red-and-white gingham checked dress and hat.
