siderealtime I know it's too early to really say without actually knowing the port, but how stuck together do you think the two of them will be?
Wu Xin with his powers means he'll be... 'flying' around quite often. Wuxia martial artists, they don't walk, they leap on trees and rooftops, and jump like gravity doesn't exist.

yeah, it depends if it's a dangerous port or not. Will would probably at least stick close at the start, bring Wu Xin off the ship and explore a bit with him. after that, if things look okay and Wu Xin wants, he can head off on his own for a bit. :3

it was a land with magic and also a Giant River of Death. some of the death-energy creatures and necromancers were pretty dangerous. Malcolm and Will fell off the boat into the woods and spent their time setting up a base to help any others.

It sounds like this one will be much more pleasant (to start), so hopefully them two can get some quality time. Wu Xin will be happy to go camping a little in the wilderness instead if they're staying together and need the space.

Not sure how Will would have come up in conversation unless we assume Will told Malcolm that Wu Xin is his temp?

magicom: ahh, then yes, Wu Xin would have told him about Will being his temp. If it was on the last day and after he met up with Will already, then Wu Xin would have also mentioned he gave him that energy shield thing Florian was giving out, so Will is protected
