And in return, he goes: "It does. Tony. Tony that's fucked up."
Anyway, coyotes just fucking. Went off, screaming at each other like: HELLO YES FELLOWS we are here
I would like to hear more about both these things
KICKS UP HEELS ABSOLUTELY so we've got this group of coyotes that have adapted well to the city life. And we thought they all fucked off into the protected wood area not too far from here. I've seen one of them once, back in October, when we were all chillin' on the curb at way too ass in the morning
Just trotting down the street. Oh, wait, that's a lie
Saw another one once just SCREAMING down the street, letting everyone and their mother know yes, they were here. It was fucking like. 3am
They look good for city coyotes like. Fur was in good condition, they seem pretty healthy
Like clockwork, they seem to return to the graveyard across the street. And after 11pm or so, sometimes we'll hear them just. Greeting each other. They're loud as fuck
slaps this on my goth merit badge: coyotes in a graveyard, that's some goth shit right there
That’s the gothest thing ever
RIGHT we had no idea when we moved into this place
Just one night, woke up to the yip-yaps and we thought someone's dog was having a time. Then it started happening a lot more
Then we saw 'em just. Not giving a single solitary shit about walking down the middle of our street. I love these guys
As for the cookie, the pumpkin cookie is MASSIVE and it's like eating a bite of some seriously good pumpkin pie like. I know Crumbl cookie isn't great, but listen. Listen, I'm a sucker for a cookie, they are my weakness
also THANK YOU for letting me talk about our Goth!Dogs, they're awesome
That cookie sounds amazing
I love your goth dogs omg
Dawwww
We have coyotes on the edges, and they were eeeeeeeverywhere on the cape. And I love then but gotta be careful because Robbie is like smaller than a cat so they would eat him in one bite and follow him home.
Oh yeah, the cape is FULL of coyotes like
They just crossed that bridge over the canal and were like, AH this land, this is our land now
The series soumd ever was in NY I sleep with windows open (see cf) and this one litter was in their first ever teen run/hunt and so they sounded like 22 of them all tipping like hyenas it was fucking wiiiiild. Just a steady train for 15 minutes to make it sound like there were a horde of them. I legit was like "r u possessed?"
yeah gotta be careful with small dogs and cats. It's why I'm like begging, pleading here: keep your cats indoors
They definitely do have a little bit of a hyena yip to 'em when they all come in to say hello. I guess (and please someone with more knowledge call my ass out here) they do it to as a way to make sure everyone's around
In this case -- to sound like there's a hundred when the young but not pups are doing the first hunt thing it had me super fooled!! I would have recorded it but I didn't used to keep my phone by my pillow as much when living with kyle
I had to look it up though because I was like "... a hundred foxes wtf is going on??????"
So the articles were like "ot was probably a small family" and I was just "wtf" lol
We lived on the edge of a park reserve though. Like IRL stardew valley. Train included. Hawks, chipmunks EVERYWHERE, rabbits, a billion pine trees
The air was solid green-yellow in spring so I was literally dying at the time oops.
Yeah we're close to a park too, which is probs why they also hang about in the graveyard. Also see our ridiculous rabbit population
YEAH ok that's what i was thinking of. Like a small family unit
Yes! We need to encourage more mouse predators
Just saying
c'mere friends, have a feast
It is WILD to me how much wildlife we have in the city like
We've seen owls, hawks, coyotes
I know the falcons are taking up roost near MTI and just fucking
hitting pigeons at 200 mph or some crazy shit
