[pet medical adjacent] If I had known that I would have to sit around for so long at this vet office I would have brought a book :/ this is just the consult, not even testing yet
i was supposed to have my own dr appt today that I had to last minute reschedule bc I don't think I'll be out of her in the next 30 :/
(chinnie is seeing internal medicine specialist bc hes a special man - nothing super urgent atm but just not reacting to meds how his gp expects him to)
so I'm at pet vet hospital, and let me tell you that this adventure started with my Uber dropping me at penn hospital
which is not the same thing
and when i walked in the info desk was just. "that's a cat. "
"that's. that's a cat. "
oh. yeah they were several blocks away from each other
so anyway we had to walk a couple of long blocks to get to the vet hospital and chinnie was not happy 
but funnily enough
the hospital is literally right behind my old lab. like it's connected to it
if I had known that from the start of would have just said to drop me off there lol
I'm just glad that I had bought him a soft carrier bc his hard one is big and heavy and i would not have been able to walk all that way with him
the bill today with lans and a little subq insilin monitor is somehow only roughly $900 let's goooo
sidenote, this office is freezing
Well, most of their patients provide their own coats.

so chinnigan dod not like his little glucose monitor and took out out so I guess I'll have to pay for a new I've and get him a little sweater so he can't rip it out again lol
