I almost went to the hospital again tonight, but folks basically begged me not to. My fever was 101.8, but went down to 100.8 after tylenol.

I now have air conditioning, an icepack, I took some Ibuprofen, and I had help getting to and from the bathroom.

When will this ever end?

I'm insisting on calling my doctor tomorrow

With my condition, the chance of getting infections from other patients is fairly high. So it has its own risks.

With the AC plus Icepack, plus Ibuprofen, I feel IMMENSELY better.

So I got a bit pukey last night, but I also have a bit of an update. My doctor informed me that Paxlovid has a potential rebound effect which is probably what I'm experiencing. It should pass in a few days, but just in case he also has me on some antibiotics in case I caught something else.
