Any CR you've had that stand out as absolute faves?

That's such a tough one that it took me days and days to think about it

and of course

now plurk won't let me reply

I liked very much the CR that EDI had with the Transformers cast/s in The Box, a few years ago.

Oh there it goes

EDI was part of a small minority of AI-based robots in a situation that had a fairly robust cast of Transformers, who have their own theology and soul-allegory and definition of personhood as pertains to machine life-forms

And they seemed to conclude based on past experiences that AI were not, as such, Actually Alive

EDI naturally took great umbrage with this and Went Off

it was fun to write, that kind of negative CR is really fun and rewarding. I wish I could have continued there and parlayed it into friendship

alas, past me is always stupider than I remember

I remember in Singularity, there was some intensely fun CR with Kimiko, from Dresden Kodak

I miss playing her and being wacky, very much, but as canon has gone on, she turned into a very different character than the comic at the time seemed to be hinting that she would become

and so now I feel like I can't both get the weirdo vibe I was enjoying AND be true to how the character actually is

So that's lost to the wrinkles of the writing process. Still, the weird, Cassandric destiny situation there was really a fun vibe, and she had a ton of oddball CR.

I played Obi-Wan Kenobi in Fade Rift, and THAT was such a beautiful time too

I had such nice castmates and it was so fun to do Jedi Master stuff and write all the lightsabe practice scenes and compare theology notes with Tolkien elves and Andrastian mages
