Current template looks like:
Name: Bulbasaur
Power: 3
Athletics: 3
Confidence: 3
H2H: 3
Dodge: 4
Move: 3
Body: 5
Energy: 20
Yup! seen the template, it's just I've got quark on another machine than my dev laptop so copying/pasting is REALLY tedious...at best.
Special Skills:
Tackle: H2H Energy: 1 Type: Normal
Test H2H to do Power in damage, and drive the opponent back 10 feet.
Vine Whip: H2H Energy: 2 Type: Grass
Whips the target with slender vines. Test H2H to do Power +1 in damage.
Poison Powder Energy: 3 Type: Poison
Scatters a toxic powder that may poison the target. Throw a single test until someone wins. On a user win, the target is poisoned, taking 1 damage a round for 3 rounds.
Growl: 4 Energy: 3 Type: Normal
Multi-attack, Test target Confidence versus this ability. On a user win, the target does -1 damage on all attacks for the rest of the battle. This attack cannot be used to drop damage more than -3 or to below 0.
I'm fiddling with the sheet now, but I can also give you the Excel Sheet Data dump in a bit if you want TOYS
I wouldn't mind that data, plz.
But yeah that's the turnaround speed on this thing.
To make this easiest for you, I should format my fields:
Move Name
Skill
Cost
Move Text
anyways you already had me find a bug there so off to a great start:
I don't have description text for these guys, but, noted.
Also yeah none of these fuckers have natural resilience.
Yeah, had to hide that from the final item image if the value is 0 or null.
Okay where do you want this thing?
This is not the final final document, you're gonna see a few moves in the pokemon move list that don't have text on the next sheet, cuz, working on some of the Weird Stuff. But if you need a giant dataset for testing, boom
and again, thanks. I found another couple bugs I squashed with adding/removing special skills.
::whistles:: you have been busy! Okay, time to do some Vlookup magic.
Behold! The power of VLOOKUP!
I'm like, I knew there was a handy dandy way to take these two things and smush them together, but while working on things, honest, it's been more convenient to keep them as two tables like that.
Oh yes, that's what Vlookup is FOR, to allow you to have tow tables, and have the one table be updated automagically from the second!
I know you're not gonna spend too too much time looking at the specific text, but don't panic, some of this shit is changing even as we speak.
Oh yeah, no big deal, this isn't for keeps this is for testing.
it's just SO MUCH EASIER to copy and past like this.
slowly working it all out
Oh thank fuck that typo's on my end
