bunnymoonvii To my absolute best guess: Something happened in the game that was an unpopular decision. Mods got called on it. Rather than react rationally, mods decided to close the game in the middle of an app round and claim it had been planned longer than it had been. People react Very Upset, understandably so. +

If this gets the game better mods then it sounds like it's for the best, as confusing as it is. They could have asked someone else to take over without scaring everyone though...
