I can and have mobile tagged but after a certain number of tags it gets miserable.

and yeah Many on mobile just. sucks

ime it usually helps if I can write down what the character would say and then work backwards to what they're doing/introspection

Sometimes you just need to carve out X time with Y tabs.

most of the time the rest flows a lot better once I figure out what their actual reply would be

and then sometimes once I have the rest of the tag put out, I change what they say because the better flowing brain meats are all "actually that's clunky, let's try this sentence instead"

yeah tags are hard... i find dialogue very hard tbh. i usually have to revise my dialogue at least once or twice
