genderchaotic is different than genderfluid in the following ways: I don't like the word fluid

(also, less importantly, my gender seems more prone to leaping from place to place than sliding along a gradient)

I use he/they pronouns for the most part, but you won't go wrong by using "he" when you're uncertain.

when I have a "don't he/him me" day, I tell people

I tend only to feel misgendered when someone specifically includes me in a masculine group

Like: call me a guy or a dude? 99% of the time this is fine.

Refer to me as "one of the guys" & my brain begins to wobble & emit steam

pretty much the only time I am okay being considered One Of The Guys are times where we're discussing specifics of appearance or presentation or something like that

"one of the guys who can reach the top shelf" / "one of the guys who has grown out their beard that far" = wholesome, harmless

"the boys sitting over there" = that category does not include me

I have Many Thoughts on why this may be so, but eh, don't feel like rambling about that

gender still has little to nothing to do with who I experience romantic & sexual attraction towards

but it unfortunately still has a lot to do with whom I pursue, because cis guys who might be willing to date me remains a category full of people who don't listen to me & push my boundaries, gross, why.

I don't have a POLICY or a PREFERENCE of not pursuing cis guys. just a Wariness which is unfortunately justified every time I try to date one.

I am still partnered with 6 people. 1 of those relationships just passed the 17-year mark. 3 of them are within 1 month of the 10-year mark. 1 is at around 4-5 years, & 1 is sort of 4 years & 10 years simultaneously.

(one of my partners is a lesbian. I have been dating her wife for 10 years. during all that time we flirted a lot. when I discovered I was nonbinary/came out she said "oh thank FUCK I've had the hugest crush" & we started dating

this remains the single most gender-affirming thing that has ever happened to me.)
