Well, sleeping arrangements first. He's been in a few places. Guarding his werewolf warden and beau so they could sleep. And sleeping up on deck.
I think he took over a pile of unused rigging on deck somewhere and made it his place of rest. People have pillow forts, he has a rope fort, or a throne of ropes.
Sometimes he might actually be on the real riggings in the masts above. Soooo. Ship of the line masts can be up to 60m. That's 20 stories tall. I'm discounting a few for ship variation, but that still means he's chilling in the ropes 10+ stories above deck. If you can't find him on the ship, look up.
He's also been around 'making friends', and bothering the network, as always. Needs to make sure he's getting his veggies, so bothering any kitchen and food people as normal, Barge or Narren crew.
I think he is buddies with Heisenberg after their pseudo fight. And he visits/bugs Clint often.
Without they're being a greenhouse, he's just being a bored nosy kid. So if there's anyone who wants to say he's underfoot, go for it.
He's also visiting the barge people to make sure they're all well, the ones he knows anyway. But he's decided to not sleep with them cause best save room for those who need it. He has no trouble sleeping on deck.

<-- one of Malcolm's daily exercises is literally holding on to stairs and pulling himself up XD It finally comes in handy in the "real" world XD
Lol! It's finally put to use!
Wu Xin doesn't know how strong Malcolm is but he didn't disagree the assessment of 'squishy'.
He doesn't disavow people of their misconceptions of him, generally. Sometimes it comes in handy!
He does look small and seems sickly and twitchy.
He's deceptively strong and ninja-y.
Well, he is lycan. Those can't be too weak.
That too
Wu Xin is the opposite, he tries to make sure people knows he's a power house while he looks harmless and sly.
He's not used to people acting weak when they're really not.
People tend to be show offs when traveling the martial world.
'Polite'. To an extent. Egoistically polite, if that's possible.
Politely telling you you should give up and implying he can beat your ass.
HE IS Malcolm likes him a lot
He's glad Will has an Inmate that isn't... making Will worse.
Oh god, my typos in my last post, I'm so sorry. I was half pass out on my mobile tagging and didn't reread, clearly.
Wu Xin is a hard inmate to graduate because everything about the barge is going the opposite of the responsibilities he needs to graduate, but otherwise he's an excellent person with his heart in the right place.
And yes that's more important for Will right now
that he's not someone getting into a cat and mouse game of manipulation with him
It also occurred to me now that the whole ship event would have happened in pitch darkness.
I shall incorporate that!
Not a cat and mouse game UNLIKE SOME PEOPLE
No, Wu Xin wouldn't cat and mouse.... But he might try to manipulate him in an obvious, 'I'm manipulating you, it's so obvious that if you do, you're agreeing to being manipulated and it's not my fault anymore'.
ancillaries: WALTER IS MALCOLM'S THIRD INMATE; IT'S OKAY FOR HIM.
But wu xin and Walter are the first inmates after the sleuths plan to get a deal for themselves!
yes but he didn't think that meant he'd get an easy one!
Two difficult ones. Sorry Will isn't graduating him anytime soon, so he won't be getting his deal for a while. Good thing Will isn't inpatient.
Wu Xin has a very bad habit of letting himself fall into bad situations in order to solve them from within. I hope Walter won't try to use the boy.
Wu Xin firmly needing to go home to graduate is very rough with the "go live with the elves" majority on the barge as Walter calls it. will and Malcolm definitely count as this..
Because this sick place is home... Sick community even
ancillaries: yuuuup. Exactly. Wu Xin need to be responsible and
go home.
He's pretty much a young lordling and there's lots of things he needs to take care of. People are waiting for him, a whole messy sect needs organizing. So he needs to go take over the demon sect his father left him!
Well they have each other and that's truly enough when you're codependent after decades of being affection-starved.
It's elves because of hunter tepes, who has pointed ears and is not an elf
Wu Xin wouldn't even know what an elf is. Lol. Walter should work on educating him.
I encourage all people to catch him up to modern teenagers activities.
Walter show him lord of the rings
Yes! Pop culture catch up!
Omg, he would so enjoy that! :3
omg that would be something Walter would feel great about doing with teens in the mix
if Walter is semi-pressured to start hanging out in the loft again back on the barge, the four of them can watch stuff there. It's funny, Walter's own tastes are actually a lot more campy and he wouldn't watch LOTR for fun at this point, but on the barge things have drifted a bit because other themes seem more mainstream or relevant
It’s up to him, honestly. Malcolm thinks they’ve prevented retaliation so he should be as safe as anyone ever is when they get back. But ofc the door is open to him.
magicom: Wu Xin didn't get to know the whole story either. So he'll be protecting Walter blindly anyway.
Walter does have pretty strong manipulative tendencies, I can't rule out the occurrence. He does have a protective attitude towards teens though. Wu Xin is a guy at least so Walter is going to be somewhat less overthinking potential creepiness.
A guy monk even. Lol. Can't get more innocent and pure than that.
