300-someodd MB hard drive, 5" and later a 3" floppy drive, MS DOS, Win 3.1.... god, I learned to write .bat files on that thing back in early grade school.... (LOL)

I was still stuck on an IBM XT (8088) clone running DOS 3.3 when I first started experimenting on Slackware at a friend's house; they were hoping to figure out how to set up an ISP. There was a time when that minimum 386 requirement seemed like a real hassle. :-P

(Eventually got a 586 Pentium-MMX that became my own Internet Server project for years, but that took a while.)
