Alright, I'm home and promised a proper update tonight.
Things at School are a complete mess right now, this past meeting the board opted to not renew the contract for the Super Intendent or any of his staff, and of course he opposed and it became an entire thing.
And it turns out that at the end of this year we will be turning in the Macbooks that we've had the last few years for something else.
What exactly, we don't know.
My students over all are doing well, but we're still short teachers so I have 36 students in my honors chemistry and 35 in my Chemistry, my Physics class is pretty standard. But we're still down two science teachers and I'm the only one in the county teaching these courses.
Then to top it off since I was having to cover another class last week due to a lack of subs, I missed a training meeting for Senior Homeroom teachers only to get repremanded for not being present.
Keep in mind I was in the media center for the training when I was called over the intercome to cover this class. And the admin heard this.
Discipline is a joke with dress code never being enforced, the new cell phone policy being ignored, and referrals basically being deleted without action.
As for the shop, the other two still can't get along and are constantly arguing, neither one wants to bother restocking or cleaning when they're there. So despite having said I was trying to bow out I've somehow wound up doing even more, including adding two new distributors to the mix. But this week does mark five years of it offically being ours.
And things have been going well sales wise.
Plus the RP regulars that I run for each week make it worth it and are the highlight of my week.
Health wise, I still have issues trying to hit the nutritional goals each day. Without making a conscious effort to do more I end up with only around 800-900 calories a day. Though the protein water I've started drinking has helped to make sure I hit that goal.
I'm off all the meds that I was on, and will have a new sleep study in December to potentially pull be off the bipap that I've been on since March.
And as of this morning I'm down 132 lbs.
But I have also found more foods that I just absolutely can not tolerate and will make me sick; sadly among which are cheese sticks, toasted bread, and egg rolls.
Outside of school or the shop, I continue to not really have much of a social life, so if you ever need anything just drop me a text.
buttlet: I forget at this point, it has been so long.
