And the brilliant drama adaption. Lol.
But I realize... That most of my characters are totally willing to knock a person out for their own good.
To say nothing of the number of times Xiaoge actually does knock people out.
Oh, the scene for my plurk.... He threw a couple of guys into a well to waterboard information out of them, and that's why he's being asked why he's not using the evil eye instead. And he's like, it's tiring (whine).
Onto

, I have mainly logs in my inbox. Not sure my brain is there enough to tag a fight scene with Vincent.
Wu Xin brain damage isn't actually good for people no matter how exhausted they are lol
omnomivore: It's very very minor? And he'll catch her before she hits the ground!
(I know fun pretendy times is different, but irl being knocked out for 15 minutes-6 hours is considered "moderate brain damage" with like a 6+ month recovery time)
omnomivore: right? Yet somehow fiction seems to like, do that all the time. Though does the type of knock out matter? Cause that sounds more like situation where there's a shortage of blood to brain for a black out. And not so much concussion or quick blackout.
If there's a shortage of blood to the brain for over 15 minutes you're in even bigger trouble, I think? I was talking about a traumatic brain injury
It's an interesting thing. /reading up on it now
Obviously there's ways to medically induce unconsciousness or even a coma that are safer
Cause how many times do we see movies or shows just knock people out?
I like British crime shows and was watching Father Brown the other day and I'm just like "This man is in his sixties and he KEEPS GETTING KNOCKED OUT"
Yeah.... People don't just sleep after they get knocked out. Lol
But seriously, nearly all my characters are the type to knock people out to help them. Except maybe Norrington.
Yeah, there's a bunch of weird medical fantasies that get propagated in fiction and then wind up being true in RP too because so many characters are from canons that follow the myth.
I have to keep telling my wife that MAS*H didn't have a big special effects budget and they weren't going to break the actors' ribs just to show realistic chest compressions during CPR lol.
Yeah, cpr is definitely like a chest massage on screen, understandably.
She has a point with more modern shows that could absolutely show full compressions if they cared enough.
.... If they cared enough.
Even medical shows don't care enough sometimes.
Yeah, MAS*H is usually pretty good about their medical stuff, especially compared to some of the more drama-focused medical shows that came after it, but they just. Didn't do special effects beyond fake blood 99% of the time. Different standards for what was expected to be shown on TV back then.
Some day Hanna is going to teach this young monk to swear like a sailor.
...I need to stop putting the asterisks in MASH plurk clearly doesn't like it
BBitsaboi: that is one thing that will never happen.
Even though he
will be surprised that Wu Xin does know all the crude hand signs now thanks to Trevor. Wu Xin might even middle finger someone.
Ahaha oh no. Hanna would laugh his ass off if he saw him give someone the finger
I'm just imagining Wu Xin being a little shit and playing innocent like "I was told that means good luck

)"
Wu Xin just slowly morphing into Sanzo...
Like that scene in orange days
omnomivore: he would totally give someone a middle finger salute and say that.
narrowmybed: he doesn't need the morph. Sanzo just doesn't pretend as much as him.
I laugh every time Hakkai thinks, poor kid, Sanzo would chew him up.
BBitsaboi: just a note... Buddhists can't speak ill.... Wu Xin believes hand gestures are not considered 'speech'.
Ahhh, no worries, Hanna isn't aware enough to know. If it makes you uncomfy I can change it!
BBitsaboi: lol no no, not at all. Doesn't even make
Wu Xin uncomfortable.
Kid is just being sassy with him.
Got it, just double checking!
And... Wu Xin starts substituting emojis as swearing. It's like... He says something, in the middle there's a paused and a sent text emoji, then he continues.
This is a good work around, Hanna is proud. Just looks down at the ping on his comm mid conversation like ah, that explains the weird pause.
He's absolutely a little twit though.
That's okay, so is Hanna
Hey I was curious because I don't know the canon but appearance wise, what does a heart bell shield look like loosely?

Wu Xin is honestly concerned here.
BBitsaboi: He's worried the guy has amnesia from his many death experiences. XD
Hey, it's been like three weeks since his last death, he's fine
BBitsaboi: he never called he name all this time! Lol.
Buddy and Dude are entirely appropriate substitutes.
BBitsaboi: hence he's worried he is remembering his
name wrong.
He's got it, don't worry buddy.
yeah that works!! sorry I'm just now getting home and settling in with my computer
tinwateringcan: I just got off work myself. Ping me if you can, I don't have tracking. But I'll also refresh every so often.
will do! I'm not sure if I'll get to character tags tonight, I'm v sleepy and finishing NPC tags myself
tinwateringcan: take your time, this isn't going to affect
plot so can backtag forever.
And please, someone... tell Wu Xin this is not a good idea.
Should we perhaps switch the tagging order for Gojyo and Hakkai, since Hakkai's the more reactive one?
tinwateringcan
I'm good with that. Makes sense since he'd need to react first here.
Also lol at their core differences.
Gojyo: hey, what gives D|
Hakkai: /VIOLENCE
Hakkai, those instincts.... What have you been hiding under that smile.
It's not for nothing that both Gojyo and Goku are lowkey scared of him when he decides to get serious...
Oh, totally. But damnit, he's trying to save you guys! One is useless and the other is violent!
Thanks~ And no, he's not calling Hakkai names behind his back. That would be improper.
