some... fear of unknown, some.. fear of more work... lots fear of being told WHAT to do and how to do it

Does anyone use a webpage for parent communication?

my child's middle school uses a couple of websites to help parents along. One shows us what their homework assignments are each day,

another lets us get their current grades. Another offers homework help. I love it! Web-interface-involvement has made my job as Mom SO

much better!

I use a blog to communicate with my classes and thier parents... school has something called Dashboard

It allows us to post assignments, kids and parents to see grades

we also have networked "turn it in" files where kids can submit work (when in building)

We have a new website at my school but parents are scared to use it.

I wonder the same thing. I surveyed teachers to find out.
