your neighbor city batangas (lipa in particular) is getting flooded, which feels rather unusual..

flood isn't an issue thankfully.
Water's out, though. Apparently prime water's pumps don't have electricity or something

madugongmaria: Was just listening to the news earlier, mejo mataas daw kasi yung Lipa kaya mejo unusual na binabaha sya. One of the guys in the news was asking the mayor kung may mga "downslope barangay" na maaring madali ng pa-recede na floodwaters.

(The answer according to the mayor is, and I'm paraphrasing: "not my problem" kasi ibang municipality naman na daw yung mga yun.

faramond: underwater na buong batangas pag bumaha sa tagaytay 😅😆 but yea un nga, i think the flooding in batangas shouldnt normally be too widespread, pero pati main areas may balita ng baha. i have cousins around lemery area (i think), kinda worried for them..
