There's one part of Dan Heng's character story that essentially says he boarded the Express, then read the archives until he basically passed out. SO I think he is the type to push himself or just. Forget to sleep until his body is like hey. Stop??

Not horriffic unlike some people about it (Hunter), but...one is likely to find Dan Heng asleep in weird places because of this. Oops.

Ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves- no no not quite that extreme. Perhaps it's sparing children in tough situations, offering more coin or food. Things he wasn't able to have much of as a kid...if it comes down to his survival or another's, though, you know he's likely doing what he can to survive...

I think sometimes Dan Heng wishes he could fully discard Dan Feng's memories. He wasn't supposed to have them. And yet...there are good memories, too, and remind him that all time with his loved ones is precious. But wow that legacy is heavy...he probably wouldn't forget

If for nothing other than he doesn't deserve to forget. Someone needs to carry the weight of Dan Feng's sins. The victims can't forget, why should he?

But if he did....well. He might be...about the same but probably more lighthearted about things? It'd be. Weird. Those memories aren't him and yet such a part of him...

I think Aventurine looooves starry nights when the aurora borealis lights are out, like at home. It's not too hot, even a little chilly but curled up with his sister it wasn't so bad...he's still not great with heavy rain.

TBH it used to be just Ratio and Topaz I think...more to annoy them than anything. (totally not because despite being a pest they don't seem to. hate him?? Abused cat behavior.) He's grown fond of several people on Boat now too tho....

thing is he's used to being around people he has to tolerate/can't stand. It's been freeing....he even finds Sunday enjoyable to interact with lately??

Used to be his sister. Then just himself ONLY. But now...he trusts Ratio very much. And on boat...Malos is weirdly up high on that list?? Dad vibes too strong man. Aurelia, Fridtjof, Lalli...many on boat have his trust on some level which is incredible to me

For Fedi! For an Executor, things are very black and white. You do the job, fulfill the contract, you served Laterano. Success. But the HE event really.....added alot of grey shades....

Mercy....is a lone flower surviving in the burned down church. A criminal wanting to do good by his people when everything is against them, even if it means his very head. Mercy is lowering his gun against a monster, because that monster is also a mother....

it's probably frustrating he can't fully classify it, but he knows it when he sees it

Mercy is also: his friend forgiving himself for his imperfections -looks at Sunday-

LMAO that would require Fedi to WANT something. He wants to fulfill a contract?? Yeah he'll eat 100 scoops of ice cream. He'll put his life on the line for his clients, for Laterano, for...these sarkaz who have been denied sanctuary......

He's extremely capable and not afraid to die so. One day. He'll figure out things he wants beyond missions and laws. He's getting there. He's been able to establish a truce with Arturia. He WORKED with her. He's getting there I think

Aventurine it's more "survival" and "what would be fun" huh? His moral compass is skewed in a selfish angle...that selfishness extends to his people, and keeping them close and well. That's "right" to him on boat rn

Fedi: oh boy it's a mess. It used to be what the Law deemed right and wrong. But he's been learning that the world is not that black and white....still very "if it interferes with the mission it's bad" mentality tho LMAO

I do think some things from Dan Feng hit him out of nowhere before he even completely remembered stuff, and there are just. Tears. That's a headcanon. Past life was too proud to cry and current life can't even fathom how you can carry on with that grief and loneliness....

H M. Back home, Mr. Yang (Welt, adoptive father, mentor) and Himeko...in Synflux? He trusts March alot more but also it...hurts that she seems to have had to mature alot when he wasn't there. Bakugo, Raidou, Wolfwood, Sylvain??? Weirdly enough Sylvain is on the list...

Trusts least: Blade. Jingliu even less because he can't predict her madness as well. LILITH is losing trust points lately too.........
