rosebriar: IT'S SO GOOD. I'm ending up going to slow because exploring is REALLY FUN. Even though I'm a weirdo who likes wandering big open maps I have to admit this more puzzle-based exploring is The Good Shit

*SO slow. The t isn't anywhere near the s key, brain, what in the world.

I only just got the fourth companion bc I try to explore everything as throughly as I can before moving on. Still haven't been back to Minrathous or Treviso, but I have quests sending me back to both

Meanwhile, my friends in one little server have all the companions already because they aren't stopping to smell every rose and kill every darkspawn lol

My favorite random moment so far: Wandering Arlathan and coming across a big statue's hand coming from the ground and Rook just. Starting to rattle off dad-level hand puns. My dude's a pretty serious guy but I'm just going to have to accept that as canon for him because it was too damn funny.

speaking of my guy, there he is!

I keep trying to take photo mode pictures of him and he looks like a potato every time even though he's gorgeous in cutscenes... and I play with a controller so if I don't put it down and hover over the screenshot key I miss good shots of him in cutscenes.

rosebriar: Mourn Guard, because I read the description for that and couldn't have felt more targeted if the devs had personally told me "Hey you goth bitch, this is for you." I picked an OC who fit it thematically (his FFXIV incarnation is named Mimir Mourningstar, for pity's sake) and went for it.

oh yeah I think my second will be a mournwatcher bc it's cool as hell. rn I have a qunari lord of fortune though and they're very fun

rosebriar: Lords of Fortune also caught my eye but I had to go with the gothest one first XD I think my second playthrough will be either as that or Veil Jumpers.

I genuinely picked lords of fortune over shadow dragons bc the casual outfit's cooler

rosebriar: VERY fair, Mourn Watch's casual outfit is... sure some color choices. It definitely had me considering my other character ideas instead lol

At least we have wardrobe to change into other stuff from basically word one!
