yeah it's meant to be more like "this is not the end of the world even if it might feel like it" but i can definitely see how it feels more like "your suffering is irrelevant in the grand scheme of the planet"
Honestly I completely agree. We all know that time continues to move forward; that was never in question. The concern is what does the future hold for us? Which gets ever closer as time marches forward.
We can't even start fighting for another 2 and a half months when the office exchanges hands!

yeah i agree. I get what people mean but honestly it's extremely tone deaf, great time marches on but all I can think of is this picture:
